English Craft

Dotted throughout the country are a few select workshops that continue to produce exquisite tiles. Classical to contemporary, a la Vaughan Williams to Tavener, with a touch of eclectic, but most definitely English.

Thanks to these artists, the ceramic skills inherent to this island, drawing on centuries of fine crafts, still find opportunity of expression. Not in great volume, (by the amount of handwork it could never be that) but certainly sufficient for an appreciable number of our friends.
