Ironbridge are made for Fired Earth at the restored Victorian Tile Works in Ironbridge. The machinery and methods employed are entirely authentic. Our relief decors for example, are embossed from metal dies cast from the original tiles in the adjacent Jackfield Museum's archives. Each tile is individually hand dipped in translucent glazes which have been mixed by hand to traditional recipes.

This may produce some degree of shade variation.
