Handcrafted in England and taking its inspiration from the natural world, Nayland is the latest stunning tile collection by lauded ceramicist Alice Gibbons and decorative artist Adam Calkin.

The handmade base tile has been made using the old fashioned method of tin glazing and it is this that gives the range its antique look. The colour is based on Fired Earth’s Old White paint shade.

The tiles are hand printed and fired five times. On each occasion the percentage of blue is slightly different, which creates a unique tonal range. The tiles are then tinted white by hand and fired for a final time.

The design is classic and unique – no two panels are identical.
Tiles from the Nayland collection work well in both the kitchen
and bathroom and the decorative tiles can be used sparingly
or on a grander scale.
